Generally the first signs of new coloring begin to appear within the first month of daily application of the product combined with sunlight exposure. When artificial UV light is used, the first signs of repigmentation may take longer to appear as this initially need a period of time in which the dose is very slowly increased. When depigmentation occurs on hands and feet it may take up to three months or even more before showing the first signs of new colour.
- Not everybody will see the same type of response. It may occur in any of the following ways:
- New colour starts from the borders of the spots towards the inside.
- Small dots of colour inside the spot appear and then begin to expand until they cover the spots.
- The entire spot may change colour starting with pink, then light brown and finally the normal colour.
- Finally, it is possible to observe a combination of all or any of the above.
It lasts permanently. It is not possible to predict if new areas of depigmentation may appear as it depends on the underlying skin condition. It is best to use the product asap in case of new depigmentation.
You need to expose the areas of skin depigmentation to direct sunlight, starting at about 5 minutes of exposure and increasing sun exposure by 5 minutes a day until reaching 30 minutes. Only depigmented areas need sunlight exposure. The rest of the body can be covered. Protect your eyes with sunglasses. If sun exposure is hard to obtain regularly or simply for greater convenience and privacy, Novitil® can also be used in combination with artificial ultraviolet light (UVA, UVB).
Yes, it is. Nutrition is important to enhance the function of the immune system and to protect the skin.
Infrared light (heat lamp), from a distance of 45 to 50 cm, for half an hour after using the gel is useful as a complement. However, it should always be combined with a sufficient amount of sunlight exposure.
Regular use of Novitil® may be combined with an artificial source of Ultraviolet light (UV) (instead of sunlight exposure). Artificial ultraviolet light should only be used following directions from someone who is appropriately qualified, and has experience regarding its use in cases of depigmentation.
Usually you use it for 6 months up to a year.
Spots in the face, neck, chest, abdomen, inguinal, and perianal regions, and legs response faster. Spots on the hands and feet take longer. The tip of the fingers is particularly difficult. In cases where the condition has been evident for many years, it could take many months to even years, in the hands and feet it may be slower.
Start applying Novitil® as soon as possible, the earlier you use it, the better.
Do not wash the skin for at least 2 hours. Novitil® dries quickly so it does not represent any inconvenience. Leaving Novitil® on the treated areas should cause no discomfort.
Twice a day.

Some common skin white spots are caused by fungus (Pityriasis versicolor/alba). These kinds of white spots require a product to kill the fungus. As always, in case of doubt, see a physician.
As soon as white spots appear.
No. Some people feel an itching sensation right before pigmentation begins. It may be likened to the sensation experienced when a wound is healing.
No, it does not irritate or harm the skin.
No. This product has been developed from natural sources and contains no harmful substances or irritants . It will not harm your skin. It has no side effects.
Novitil® contains the following ingredients: Proteins, Polypeptides, Distilled Water, Glycerine, Aloe Barbadensis, Carboxymethylcellulose, Camphor, Menthol, Kathon and Oligoelements.
It helps control the microscopic inflammatory skin process that leads to depigmentation and stimulate melanocytes to produce melanin. It helps the skin to regain its normal colour by naturally stimulating the pigmentation process, enhancing the capacity of the skin melanocytes to respond to sunlight (or artificial ultraviolet light) without the side-effects of other products.
Of course, that depends on how big the spots are and how much spots you have. You need to use the gel very thin, so it will last for a long time. Usually you should have enough with 1 or 2 bottles.
Novitil can be safely used by children. However, children under the age of 18 are advised not to use UV light. As a result, Novitil’s effect may be less. Children under the age of 18 can sometimes use UV light under the guidance of a dermatologist. In that case they can use Novitil®.
